LUMA UV Adhesive
LUMA LED Lamp
Evaluated according to the IEC 62471 photobiological safety standard, it is classified as RG0, the lowest risk group within this classification. Laboratory-tested UV400 safety glasses are also included, filtering more than 99.6% of the measured radiation within LUMA’s operating range.

FAQ
The LUMA lamp was evaluated according to the IEC 62471 standard and classified as RG0, the lowest photobiological risk group. Exposure is also very brief, targeted, and performed according to a precise protocol.
For the sake of scientific accuracy, we never claim “zero risk.” However, the results obtained under the evaluated conditions are very reassuring.
No. LUMA adhesive still contains cyanoacrylate, so a risk of reaction remains. However, each adhesive bond is cured immediately, reducing exposure associated with the curing process. This may be better tolerated by some sensitive clients.
Because technicians use the lamp repeatedly. We therefore include a simple precautionary measure: laboratory-tested UV400 safety glasses that filter more than 99.6% of the measured radiation within LUMA’s operating range.
Compatibility cannot be guaranteed simply because another lamp displays the same wavelength. Wavelength, irradiance, power, distance, exposure time, and beam design are all integral parts of the system.
Not under the LUMA protocol. The client’s eyes must remain completely closed during activation, and the lamp must be used at the recommended distance and angle. A standard eye patch is not automatically considered UV protection unless it has been laboratory-tested for that specific purpose.
Yes, but control is just as important as speed. Position the extension exactly as you want it, then activate the curing process when you are ready.
